Surface Studio - All-in-one PC

The Surface Studio is an all-in-one PC, designed and produced by Microsoft as part of its Surface series of Windows-based personal computing devices. It was announced at the Windows 10 Devices Event on October 26, 2016, with pre-orders beginning that day.

Surface Studio Specs

The Surface Studio has a 28-inch 4.5K PixelSense display with 4500 x 3000 pixels, equivalent to 192 dpi. The screen, the thinnest ever built for an all-in-one PC, is capable of being used in both the DCI-P3 and sRGB color spaces, and features a unique hinge ("Zero Gravity Hinge") design that allows it be tilted to a flat position , monitor is designed to fold down to a 20-degree angle on your desk similar to a drafting table . Microsoft specially designed its Surface Mouse and Surface Keyboard to work with the Surface Studio. It is also compatible with the Surface Pen and a newly-created accessory, the so-called Surface Dial. Developers can utilize its APIs to integrate its functionality into their own products. The CPU is located in the base. Its compact design contains an Intel Core i7 processor, a GeForce GTX 980M graphics card, 32 GB of RAM and a 2TB hard drive. It also features four USB 3.0 ports, a Mini DisplayPort , an SDXC card reader and a headset connection . The Windows 10 Pro desktop, which weighs 9.56 kilograms, offers enterprise-grade security and 5-megapixel webcam with 1080p video.

Price of Different Variant

Microsoft said that the Surface Studio's base model with 1TB storage, Intel Core i5 processor, and 8GB RAM will cost $2,999. On the other hand, the variant with 1TB storage, Intel Core i7 processor, and 16GB RAM has been priced at $3,499. The top model, which comes with 2TB storage, Intel Core i7 processor, and 32GB RAM, will carry a price tag of $4,199.

Surface Dial

Microsoft Surface Studio also comes with a Surface Dial is a new form of input to change the workflow and bring creative process to Windows 10. Surface Dial can be used to replay your inking by simply spinning the dial. The Surface Dial is a round disk that can be placed on the display and rotated to perform various actions, such as scrolling, zooming, adjusting the volume, among others, with precision. This mode of interaction is also compatible with other Microsoft products such as Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4 or a Surface Book.
